Data from the Statistics and Census Service shows that 90.6 percent of available rooms across hotels and guesthouses in the Chinese special administrative region were occupied through July. The figure marks a strong recovery for the region's hospitality sector, surpassing rates recorded in the years following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
