Grand Theft Auto 6 Map Will Be Three Times Larger Than Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Confirms
The upcoming title is set to feature an 80-hour campaign alongside the studio's most expansive open world yet.
Rockstar Games is preparing its most expansive open-world environment to date with the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 6. According to the developer, the new entry will feature a playable map three times larger than the world featured in Red Dead Redemption 2. The expanded setting will encompass Vice City alongside surrounding outlying regions, establishing it as the largest map in the history of the franchise. In addition to the expanded territory, the title is expected to deliver approximately 80 hours of gameplay, continuing the studio's tradition of building detailed, populated sandbox environments filled with distinct landmarks and activities.
